Stating what the project does not do.
A research project is judged by its boundaries as much as by its results. Here are LIVEX's boundaries, stated clearly.
Research work, not a finished product.
LIVEX is a personal exploration project on multi-agent simulation. It does not claim to model societies, people or real systems. The behaviours observed are valid within the simulated world, and only there.
- No scientific publication or external validation is claimed.
- No public release exists to date: the repository remains in development.
- The behaviours observed are valid within the simulated world, and only there.
What the agents are not.
No consciousness
The agents are simulated entities. Their "desires" or "emotions" are simulation variables, with no subjective experience.
No personal data
The simulation uses neither real data nor profiles of people. The files produced are synthetic traces.
No claim to realism
The project does not claim to reproduce life, the economy or society. It explores dynamics.
No promises
No roadmap is held as a commitment. The published states reflect the present state of the repository.
Designed to run locally.
The development services (engine, observation, mock) run locally and do not expose a hardened public service. Any network exposure should be preceded by authentication, input validation and hardening. SeeSECURITY.md.
